I began making cards about 5 years ago. That’s a lot of cards!! It all began with an invitation from my friend. At the time I was feeling quite despondent and to brighten me up she suggested I’d try making some cards (maybe by sharing and giving to others I might forget about my depression). I took her offer (though I didn’t give away my creation till a while later, I know selfish me). Needless to say I wasn’t feeling any better the trick was in creating something with someone in mind. And that’s exactly what I did. From that day forward I began to feel better. I can’t say I don’t have relapses. One thing I can say- I know where to go... Just grab some stamps, paper, and ink and begin to think of that special someone in need that’s all it takes to brighten someone's (especially my) day. Cause after all it’s better to give than to receive.
