Today I am posting a card I created for a new challenge hosted by Courtney and some other amazing gals. The challenges will go on monthly and the theme will always be household items. For this month the call is to create anything using mail. Yes, you know how we sometimes have piles of mail on our counters or dining table. Now is the chance to look for all those pretty prints, borders and colors and put them to great use. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?!? For more info you can go here.
So here's the card I made for this challenge. And let me tell you I am addicted to reusing and repurposing so I really had a blast with this one.
This is the mail I chose to use:
And here's my creation. A simple layout using everything from this small pile of mail. The only things I used outside of this was the base card, faux rhinestone and the sentiment. The little flower was created using the envelope and the clear little piece for the address to show :)
Thanks ladies for such an awesome challenge. I'll be looking forward to another one of this kind :)
Have a happy Friday!!
