Hello :) Have you been enjoying your weekend? Well I sure have. Great weather always makes me happy. Before I say anything else I want to thank those of you who take the time to comment. I appreciate all your input.
An update on yesterdays post...
As far as me getting into scrapbooking... I'll have to give it a try. However, I much rather learn to give away my cards ;) I did find a solution for my dilemma. Here it goes, the cards I spend the most time and money on will either go to people I know will appreciate the "art" or for sale at a cafe I found near me :) That way I don't feel guilty or sad that my time and money was trashed. However, with that being said I have made a vow to mail out 5 cards a month I know that might sound skimpy but it's a start, right? I should know better that giving is always better than receiving. I know the feeling of receiving a card from a special someone- nothing compares :) So I'll stop hoarding and begin to spread the joy of cardmaking :) Send it and forget that's my motto :)
Now on to todays card. Have you been visiting Kelly over at Lawn Fawn? The sneak peaks continue tonight so stay tuned for that. There is more goodness to be revealed. This card uses some more Just My Type. Here I used the paper clip again to create a background (can you tell I love it) but incorporated a different sentiment and image. To write "dude" I used stickers.
I used the scissors and the first thought that came to mind was to create a masculine card. I was mainly thinking of my brother when I created this. He is definitely "a cut above the rest". Anyway, I added some liquid glass to the handles just for texture.
Here a close up. Aren't they just brilliant?
So there you have it. A simple and fun masculine card :) Thanks for visiting. Stay tuned because soon I'll be announcing the next Fan Random Winner.
